I have used the tinned and it has stood up well. Raw copper might corrode more 
quickly, especially if it contacts another metal that interacts with 
galvanically (like aluminum).

For you mobilers , when  bonding different parts of the vehicle for 
instance door to frame talilgate to frame muffler to frame etc. what is 
better tined copper braid or just copper color copper braid ?  thanks
