As I noted in a previous post, I have a few oval computer speakers that were
salvaged from defunct systems. Per Jerry's comment I suspect the ones I have
(and probably most if not all computer speakers of this type) are metric
(perhaps in the case of mine, 50 x 90 MM?) with just enough difference from
inch-sized speakers to be (as the old quip goes) "close but no cigar."
