I hope I am not out of step here, but my very good ham friend, Chuck,
AJ8W, is working on what sounds like a very similar adjustment to his
Omni-C, so I sent a copy of your exchange to him.
He replied as follows:
Let him know that the sideband freq is correct and
that CW will be off freq. as stated in the manual but
the 750 hz of off set. It sends CW 750 off the receive
freq. you hear. Don't remember the page but in the
front of the manual and at the bottom of a page.
Just wait I'll look. It's is on page 2-9 under Operating
Hints item 8.
I don't know if this helps, but I am passing it along just in case it is
helpful in some way.
If not, I apologize for wasting bandwidth, my road to Hell is well
