This is a Ten-Tec Titan III Model 417A legal limit amplifier that I
purchased new from Ten-Tec. It has always been in a smoke-free environment
and is in excellent physical and electronic condition.
The 417A has band switch positions for the WARC bands. The tubes installed
are the originals and achieve full power out on some, but not all, of the
bands. On the bands that do not quite achieve full output, the output is
typically in the 1300 watt range.
Included with the amplifier is a brand new pair of Russian made GU74b
4CX800A tubes as spares for future use. These tubes cost approximately $300
for the pair, so the asking price for this amplifier reflects the value of
these spare tubes.
A printed manual will be included, and factory packaging will be used for
shipment. This will be shipped in 3 cartons: the amplifier, the
transformer, and the spare tubes.
I am asking $2,800 which includes shipping to the lower 48 states. It can
also be picked up in southeast Florida for $2,700.
