I had noticed the dependence on power level before and thought it
odd. I've also noticed that it didn't seem all that accurate compared
to an independent meter. Is the reflectometer used for the internal
tuner independent form the one used for display? different? If so,
that explains why the tuner seems to happily find a match that yields
an identical reading to a match using an external tuner. It also
explains how we can see an SWR display with and without the tuner installed.
I suppose I'll simply not worry about it!
