FWIW, I run ATTN at 6db and RFGAIN at 80 setting. This seems to work 
exceptionally well on the noisier bands like 40 and 80 meters. Twenty meters 
and above I'll sometimes set ATTN at zero just so I can hear some noise floor, 
hi. SAF is terrific, best audio filtering I've encountered yet. The key is zero 
beat the other station's cw note to your side tone. I happen to use 650hz, YMMV.

BTW, my S meter sits at about S4 when RFGAIN is dialed back to the 80 setting. 
Also, when using SAF my BW is at 750hz. SAF is C: 650hz and W: 20hz...

The O2 is the best rig out there!
