I have the N4YG DDS vfo in my Corsair II, and it works like a charm, except the read out (internai to the Corsair) goes crazy when I transmit. Reads random freqs, including 90 mhz, which shows on readout with no vfo. The actual xmitted freq is stable. Would by-passing the readout driver line be the best place to start? I have left the external vfo connection intact with the jumper. N4YG doesn't seem to have a email adx for help, unless I missed it. Also, the unit tunes backward but I assume switching wires on the encoder would correct this? Thanks, 73, John, K4AVX k4avx1@windstream.net |
