I do not classify the RX366 as a General Coverage Receiver mainly because
the RX366 is the Eagle receiver and it is highly tuned to provide optimum
specs for the ham band coverage.
It can be used to listen to AM broadcast and can be used to listen to your
favorite SWL but it is with degraded performance.
Some very astute ears will notice the difference between the original
receiver used in the Orion/Orion II and the RX366 in AM broadcast reception
or SWL or WWB, but a lot most won't.
Your mileage may vary and it is a personal preference whether the
degradation outside the hambands with the RX366 are significant enough to
matter to you or not.
