Just FYI - Works fine with my Orion and Alpha 99. Not sure why the
Corsair
II wouldn't, but it may not have the same keying circuit as the Orion
(which
shared, I believe, the Omni VI/VI+ circuit. In fact, didn't I hear that
Yaesu copied the same keying loop architecture? OK, so I've moved from
specifics to generalities - not a prudent approach, I agree.

There is also a QSK mod for Corsair and Corsair II at

the keying loop method. I made the modification to my near end of
production Corsair II and use it with my Titan 425. By using a set of
DPDT
contacts with the common set running to my Titan 425, the NO to my
OMNI-VII
and the NC to my CORSAIR-II, I can quickly switch the radio driving the
Titan-425 while inhibiting the TX of the off-line TXCVR.
You may want to check with TT regarding QSK TX delay for the Corsair II,
but
it seems to me it was 10 milliseconds.

Which mode(s) are you running.
With SSB there is only one issue, with CW there may be more.
I never owned a Corsair II but I believe it has a switchable AMP-KEY
line.
I believe you can choose between keying with a transistor or keying with
a
relay.
It is quieter to key with the transistor, but if the voltage or current
requirements of the PA's relay are higher, you MUST use the relay, not
the
transistor.
Also, current Alpha amps use vacuum relays but I believe the 77 used open
frame relays.
This means it is not capable of following QSK keying.
I don't know if the Corsair has any built in "hang" on its amp-key line,
but
I doubt it.
In this case you can solve the problem by buying the Model 318 Amp Key
and
using its hang delay.
