My son N4YDU and his partner finished 20th out of 59. But he and his partner also finished 5th in total QSO's. They had 4408 QSO's. That's an average of 92 QSO's per hour per person maintained for 24 hours.

Nate said the best hour he had was on 40 meters around 7 PM last night when he worked 187 in one hour. That's 3 per minute sustained for an hour.

Nate said he took two short bathroom breaks during the entire 24 hours and never stopped to eat. And his partner only took one bathroom break the entire 24 hours and also never stopped to eat.

A truly monumental effort.

Here's a link to the live scores page, 10 minutes before the end of the
contest. N4YDU/N3KS places #21, subject to log checking.
