Ok. I suppose if the warm up isn't an issue or if I leave the power supply on 
then the OCXO vs TCXO isn't a big deal. 

As for the xtal osc board, would that be a cost prohibitive fix or should I 
just find a replacement board provided that's the problem?

Service at TT said I should keep this for parts at a min for the VI+ since 
parts are scarce. 

I'll prob end up giving this to a new ham. Someone did that for me when I was 
young and had no funds. I just want it to be up to spec. 

I think an Omni VII is on the horizon once I get my Eagle.
