Eric, I recommend replacing all the electrolytic capacitors on the power
distribution board if you have some experience with such tasks. The board
is easily accessible. Lots of info on the ten tec wiki, which I updated a
few months ago with recommended capacitor part numbers (all available from
Mouser).
Does your RIT/XIT control work reliably? If it's flakey, I recommend the
silver conductive grease fix described on the ten tec wiki site but this
will require disassembling the front panel even further.
You're probably going to be sorry you asked ;-) Again, I wouldn't
attempt either of these tasks unless you're completely
comfortable/confident after reading the wiki info.
