You said it is off 120 kc  (120 kHz) which is over 1/10th of a MHz.  That
is a tremendous amount of error... did you mean to say 120 cycles?

120 kHz error would probably be a major failure in the synthesizer section.

120 cycles could be corrected by aligning the master oscillator, and
verifying the BFO crystal frequencies.  Ten Tec spec'ed most of that series
for plus/minus 50 cycles.  120 cycles error wouldn't be unexpected for an
older rig that has never been touched.
