Certainly I would think it is basically possible, but there are some issues
with that on this radio. If the Paragon has the RS-232 board installed it
can be controlled by a computer for mode, frequency, bandwidth, and anything
on the right side of the front panel. However, all the stuff on the left
side is not available...any gain settings, passband tuning, NB settings or
even AGC. You can use the audio line in/out and PTT, FSK, or CW inputs on
the rear panel and process and control those through an external computer,
but you still will not be able to read the S-meter or control any of the
settings done by front panel pots.

Does anyone have any experience with a Paragon operated as a remote station?
 
I found out today that a friend has one that he was thinking of setting up
in 
just such a fashion, at his work location's club station, and he's asked if
I 
had any experience with it.  Unfortunately, the Paragon is one of those rigs

I've simply never actually operated.
 
Any info appreciated!
