Sure, technology moves on. I am sure the technology behind the Patriot is
light years ahead of the Omni V and VI series radios, but quite honestly
I wouldn't trade either of my Omni VI radios just to be able to say I am on
the cutting of technology. I don't think I would be happy with an Omni
VII. I was considering an Orion, but again, I suspect if worse comes to
worse I will able to keep the Omni's running for far longer when problems
arise.
