Allan: I have a green screen that I remover from my Jupiter to upgrade to a
bluescreen. The display is good and I might still have the instructions so you
can usethe green one. There was a resistor that had to be changed during the
upgrade. It's a small surface mount, but a regular 1/4 watt would do the trick.
I have no idea what the thing is worth, but I wouldn't hold you up! HI

Subject: Re: [TenTec] Jupiter display problem
Hello, This is my first time on here so I hope I'm doing this correctly. I
have a Jupiter with a bad display. The contrast won.t change and when
tuning you can hear the digits flipping in the receiver. You can also hear
it in another receiver! Ten-Tec (Paul) tells me the displays are no longer
available. (That.s why they stopped making them)So, I guess I.m looking for
a display. It.s a blue display but I.ll take a green one if anyone knows if
it.s compatable. This thing is two years old (probably one of the last ones
sold)and its been a nightmere. Back to TT 3 time for various QC kind of
troubles. Bad soldering mostly. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks
much, Al W!AJM ps. Is anyones Jupiter deaf as a haddock on 10 and 15?
