Hi,

I'm an "end of the food chain" ham and have enjoyed Ten-Tec products
but never purchased a new rig from them.

I have no quarrel with the service costs.

I only want to point out that this list, websites, wikis and other
information services are essential to my enjoyment of Ten-Tec
products.

It is a legal and frequent practice for producers of products
to tie up the user manuals, service manuals, firmware, and other
intellectual property in an attempt to turn that information
into another income stream. I hope Ten-Tec can prosper
without doing that.

So my hope is that the new owner of Ten-Tec will continue
the traditions of the old in having clear and helpful information
available about their products. I don't expect them to
spend time and money to support me as a non-paying product
user. But I want to encourage clear documentation, availability
of service information, and cooperation with the community
of users, even us cheapskates.

Chris
