I have enjoyed reading about the snow up north. Did you notice "enjoyed?" I
just wish all the northerners would close their refrigerator doors. You're
making it cold here in Florida. The current temperature is 44 degrees and
wind. Do you realize what that does to us "Senior citizens" and joints? :-{
We are supposed to get to 32 tonight. But as I often have said for the last
10 years, "No snow yet!"

Hi John, I'll bet the folks down there are paralyzed with this much snow.
You certainly remember the snow storms up here.

It started here about 3AM and still more to come they say. Hard to tell the
amount though because of they very high winds. Big drifts. My drive way is
100' long and some places it is bare and other places there are drifts to 3'
already.

Just talked to Lloyd and he and Gaye are doing fine. My 75/160 antenna is
still up so I should be able to run the SSB nets at 20:00 and 21:00.

Will watch for emails from you and Lloyd here as I do not expect to go
anywhere for now. Also, use the phone if need be. 570-643-3329

Stay safe. Stay home.

Andy, W3LI

Every few years we get an inch or two of snow on the ground here in Metro
Atlanta. The rain turned to snow overnight and the ground is covered as it
continues to snow here, as of 10 AM ET.

Many of our Net Members live in areas where the snow will be very deep with
high winds and please take care of your family, your pets and your house.

Amateur Radio is a hobby and we know that many of our TEN-TEC nets will be
affected by the weather and I fully understand.

The safety of you and your families are most important, so if you are unable
to check into any of our nets this weekend, do not feel that you have let us
down.

This is truly an Emergency situation and good and wise judgement is so
important.

Be safe and God bless and protect each of you and your dear families.
