I've noticed the same thing with my OII but only on 40/80/160 m bands.
2% fixed it with mine as well.
Because the radio is essentially SDR, I've noticed that the
within-character QSK rx is lost around 20-25 WPM, depending on the QSK
delay setting; between characters is always OK at any speed I can
handle. On my olde analog TS-930S, the QSK hangs in there pretty much as
fast as I care to go.

2% is nothing, you'll be absolutely fine

Barry,
Sorry if this appears as a repeat message - but I didn't see my previous
reply come through. Anyway, that fixed it. I can go down as low as 2% but
not any less.
Thanks much! 73, Rod/w7zrc

Try adding 10% CW QSK Delay in the CW Menu.

All,
I just loaded version 3.033xe and have entered all my custom settings. I
know I'm a little late trying this update. Anyway, all seems to be working
okay except when keying CW. When the key breaks (when I let up on the key),
I get a pop in the audio monitor. Happens all the time even with the S-Tone
at zero.
Is this a known problem and do I just need to go back to version 3.033xd
to correct it, or have I missed a setting somewhere?
Thanks and 73, Rod/w7zrc
