Radios certainly were beautiful back then!
I sure wish someone would build a modern radio that looks like that and . . . 
BRING BACK THE S-METER (real meter, not idiot-lights).

Incidentally, the C-21 was designed by Dick Frey, K4XU, when he worked for Ten 
Tec in the 70's.
