You may want to try the following vendor for the Molex connector. They often

I have one Bourns 128 PPR optical encoder still available - a replacement
for failing Omni VI/VI+ tuning encoders, main or RIT. It features 1/4in
shaft with 3/8 X 3/8 bushing which is what the Omni uses. Model number is
ENA1J-C28-L00128 and datasheet can be viewed here:

$25 shipped CONUS, payable via PayPal

Perry,
Yes, I remember that switch. I've set it to "Receive" thinking I didn't need
it on "Transmit".
I see from the schematic that this disconnects the coax completely where I
have the signal generator attached. I will definitely check that out when I
get to my workbench Monday.
Thanks,Lyman KK6LPW

Near the coax connector is a vertical slide switch that shifts the
receiver'to a separate antenna jack. slide it up and down a few times to
clean the contacts.
This is not a new situation with that switch.? Worth a try....

Does anyone have a schematic for a T-T Omni VI Model 563 IF/AF assembly? My
instruction book includes production pcb 81602. My transceiver has pcb
81597, 92842 Rev. C.

Hi Greg,
I have a fairly comprehensive set of old Ten-Tec manuals.
My 563 manual dated 2/1994 shows the 81602.
The 564 manual shows the same board.
So I checked the old Omni V (562).
It has an 81462 board in the IF/AF.
Are you absolutely certain of the board number?
I hope someone else can find that, but as far as I know, I have the most
comprehensive collection of manuals available. Sorry.
