Hi-

I have had an opportunity to bring different T-T PTO’s back into usefulness
with out a total tear down.

The silicone based lubricant has been available at “Bicycle Shops”. The name of
the lubricant is: “TRI-FLOW” silicone lubricant it has been in a spray can.

I would soak, bathe, drench the grease in the PTO and use a fine brush to clean
the grease away. Then I would turn it so that the extra would drain out and
install it.

I think the method I use results in an equally free mechanism.

The first PTO that I experimented on with this method was in 1999 when I bought
a can to lube the cables on my bicycle. Then tried it on my OMNI A. It is still
working well even after months of non use in 18 years.
