Although an excellent wide marching range tuner it will handle the power as
well. If one is experiencing SWR drift, that indicates the disc ceramic caps
are getting hot and changing value. They are adequately rated for voltage but
not for the current under certain match configuration.
The better solution is to remove the 8 - 220pf caps and replace them with 4 of
the Russian 470 pf doorknob capacitors. There is room to mount them to the
bottom panel an the issue will be forever gone.
