[TenTec] Century 21 question

One followed me home after the last hamfest. Seems to tx and rx, haven’t gotten 
much farther than that yet. Looks are so-so, as one issue is the black wrap 
around the covers. What is the name of this style of finish? I’m not sure how 
committed I am to making this radio pristine but I am thinking of fixing a few 
things.
