Carlos,
Thanks for responding to my query about the 1210. I bought this 10 or 12 yrs
ago at the Dayton Hamvention real cheap. The guys said it worked, there didn't
seem to be any toasted parts, and it was complete and unmodified and included
the manual.
It did receive, and quite well, but the TX side did not, at least no power out.
The TX RF chain works up to the final transistor, so I bought 2 or 3 from TT. I
replace it, but no output. I shelved the project due to to many distractions at
home and work, then we moved to a different house.
Well I just dug it out last weekend to look at it again. I have an RF Mili-volt
meter and will probably probe around with that in and around the finale
transistor to see what I find out.
In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with
these.
What words of wisdom can you pass along to me ?
Regards,
