Hi Ernie
I had a problem with the sub receiver in one of my O2's quite a while ago.
I can't remember the symptoms but I tracked it down to the very small
ceramic IF Filter. I unsoldered the filter and took it out and temporarily
by passed the filter space with a capacitor. That restored the sub receiver
to working order but of course with an extremely wide bandwidth.
I did an Ebay search and found an electronics outlet in Poland who could
supply the correct filter. Bought a few I think, put one in and voila fine
after that.
I have no idea if that fault in any way relates to your problem but you
never know.
