Is that to an antenna? What SWR? Have you tried loading a dummy load?

Subject: [TenTec] Issue with Centurion

Hello All,

I have a Centurion amplifier that appears to have a problem delivering the
specified output power. When tuning up, everything seems to be ok except the
amplifier can only deliver about 600 watts. The drive power at this time is
about 25 watts. Further increase of the drive power will result in excessive
plate current, with only a small increase in output power.

The plate voltage looks fine (3,000 volts no load). Both 3-500z tubes are new
from RF Parts.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.
