[TenTec] Omni v

I have the above transceiver in as the buttons don't work!.
Turns out that the foam backing on said buttons has deteriorated over 
time and bits have fallen down to the bottom of the front panel and 
preventing operation of the buttons, in particular the FM one.
Any advice on what i can use/substitute i can replace it with.
