    TNX reply !  No, I have the Triton IV Digital. Mine has "Triton IV Digital" 
printed to the lower left of the tuning knob (Not the "Model 544" printed on 
later models after the Motorola issue). It is the model 544 (not the 540 with 
external QRG display).

  I have located C27 on the semi-legible schematic, but cannot figure out its 
actual physical location in the rig...
