Scott,
Just a thought: if the 3.58 MHz stuff is radiating mainly from the
coax port on the receiver, you might gain some ground by installing a
coaxial high-pass filter right at the connector on the receiver. A good
filter will deliver 50-80 dB of attenuation below 30 MHz.
