Today I had a very good sunset opening to deep European Russia with
1 4th district station and 4 3rd district stations worked. Also, RU9SL
peaked 579 about 15 minutes after sunset but the best I could ever get
out of him was "W4ZV?". Can someone confirm his location? I believe
it is Oblast 167 in the UA9 district with the capital city of Orenburg.
If this is correct, he was near the Western part of Kazakhstan, which
would be very good news since I'm still looking for a UN on Topband.
