For those of you unfamiliar with 160 propagation, conditions are often
best after several days of quiet geomagnetic activity (low A and K
numbers). Sometimes there are also enhancements on the leading edge
of disturbed (high K) conditions, but they are short-lived and then
generally followed by poor conditions. I am going to start adding
major expeditions to this in addition to contests.
