As promised TO0R showed up on 160. ON4UN first heard them
at 21:15 (and worked them at 21:22). Signals had a lot of
QSB, but the guys worked many European stations (QSX up 1).
By 22:00 the signals exhibited much less QSB, and they were
Q5 copy just about all the time with ON4UN.
At 22:30 TO0R calls QRZ VE1 but the European pile-up is
very big, and they just will not listen for the instruc-
tions of the operator... Too bad. Then at 22:38, while they
got stronger and stronger, the operator signed he was going
QRT....
Let's hope they make it through to North America just
before their sunrise (if they hear their alarm clock)....
Good luck and 73,
Your pilots: ON4UN, N1DG, W0EK, K0EU, W4WW, W2IJ, JH1ROJ
