160 sure is interesting.
Last nite (Friday 10 jan local) I heard many S9+ East coast
stations (which is unusual here) and W6/7's working Europeans
all over the band, noise level was not bad at all.
I could not copy a single European. I could tell that a couple were
there, S1 or 2 buried in the noise, when stns in WA were giving
them 579 reports.
Does anyone know if the signals were arriving at a high angle? For
Europe my only rx antenna is the tx vertical.
