>LOW BANDS ON THURSDAY NIGHT (JAN 16)
>------------------------------------
>In Europe sigs on 80 CW were quite good but the operator
>seemed to hear very few stations. On 160 signals got
>stronger and stronger near sunrise. This time there was a
>definite sunrise peak.
>USA: VK0IR peaked on 3707 CW at 2015 UTC in VO1 land. No
>reports from others
(de W4ZV): Let me add a comment here. Europe, please spot VK0IR
AND his QSX frequency as we approach the brief USA 160 window
after 2200. Yesterday, I noticed several guys calling ON
his transmit frequency or 1 up when in fact he was listening
5 up. Signals are extremely weak here so please help us by
spotting both his transmit AND QSX frequencies around 22-23 UTC.
