Dear Fellow Topbanders:
I just happened to notice on this morning's CBC news broadcast (I
have a 4 GHz dish) that the average price of a home in Halifax, Nova
Scotia, for January 1997 was CDN$107K. The value of the Canadian dollar
today was just under US$0.74. Thus, it would seem that you could be
VE1ZZ's neighbor for US $80K and become an honorary European on top band.
So, let's see, a few extra acres for the four square . . . Rohn
25 @ 125' x 4 . . .and a few airline tickets. . .hmmmm. And if I sell my
house here in Boston for . . . then invest the difference . . .
Lobster and sardines are cheap there too.
