TopBand: FT1000 Tuning Mod?

With the A index at 46 and the K at 4, my thoughts turn to other things.

Just picked up a beautiful, mint FT1000D...man I'm in heaven...anyhow, I
only have one minor complaint...it tunes so fast.

Does anyone know of a mod to cut the tuning speed down to like 5 kHz per
revolution rather than the 10 it now is???

Help would be appreciated.
