RG-58 has approximately 2 dB of loss per 100 ft at 28 MHz.
Loss decreases by the square root of frequency, i.e.,
by 1/2 for a 4:1 frequency change. This equates to
1 dB at 7 MHz, and approximately 0.5 dB at 1.8 MHz
for 100 ft of RG-58. Not a problem.
