Recently a short operation signing FP/W8MV was on topband (as well as
other bands) during a period of poor condx. Signals here were weak and
the QRN levels were high at this end.
Apparently there is still quite a lot of demand for FP on top band - even
into EU.
A group of local W8 ops (seasoned in DXpeditioning) will be QRV from FP
from October 23rd thru the CQWW SSB weekend to the 27th. While the main
effort will be WW SSB Test, special efforts will be made on the low bands
before the contest. Look for FP/KG8CO as well as N8CC, W8MC or K8AEM,
any of which could be signing FP/.
I understand K8AQM will handle the QSLs.
