--from the N. American west coast, it might be worth looking for at least
Scandinavian stations before local sunset judging by the following:
2245 UTC 8 Dec 1997 (~90 minutes before local sunset), a strong carrier
noted on 1314 kHz (likely the big Norwegian) from Victoria, B.C., not quite
enough to deliver audio in the splatter from 50 kw on 1320 kHz 80 km away.
Carrier became fady, and much weaker by local sunset, but continued to past
0700 UTC 9 Dec.
