Hi guys,
after two years of working the Topband, today, I've finally achieved
confirmation of 100 countries. After EK6GC arrived last week, this morning was
FH/DJ1RL who did #100 on 160m! Still waiting for 11 more, but now its more
relaxing!! The challenge was to get the 100 countries before the end of the 97,
and I did it!
BTW, today we've finished (again!) the new vertical for 160m, hope to
enjoy it more than last time! 2:1 Bandwidth approaches the same, 100 KHz.
SWR is 1:5:1 at 1.835 MHz. Need to add radials, still with the mesh!
I'll try to QRV tonite around 23z, and tomorrow (31st) around 0330z.
