The eclipse you describe, Lee, already occurred on 9 March 1997.  The
eclipse 
described by me and P43HOT will indeed occur on 26 February 1998 (North
America time), and will be total in the afternoon that date in Aruba.

You can view the last half of it there in Hawaii just after sunrise,
where it is only partial.
