There's a perfect solution to this great dilemma. This solution offers an
ultra-low takeoff angle, extremely high efficiency (better than 120
radials), requires no digging, completely eliminates all sources of manmade
noise, and will not interfere with time spent fishing.
The next time you go fishing, bring along a few extra things: a big
battery, a transceiver, 1/4 wave of lightweight wire, and a balloon filled
with helium. Then bait your hook and reel them in (either the fish, the
dx, or both).
