Hi Tom (W8JI) and Topbanders!
I got up this morning to join in the fun with ZL8RS for my
first log entry since mid-May. Bob had a great signal but I sure
did notice the BC spurious Tom mentioned. From here, it seems
to be definitely coming from the west on my 280 degree Beverage.
Using dual RX, it seems to be jumping between about 1835.7 and
1832.2, but is very unstable on those frequencies.
For anyone up chasing ZL8RS with a good Beverage system,
please take a listen tomorrow and forward your reports, ESPECIALLY
direction from your QTH to Tom at w8ji.tom@MCIONE.com. Tom was
successful once before in getting a station in Florida to clean up
their act so please help him if you can!
