With two unbalanced lines in "push-pull" operated as a balanced line, loss
is exactly identical to the loss of a single cable of the same type and
length. If you have two RG-8 lines operated as a balanced line, loss would
be exactly the same as with one "unbalanced" line the same length using
RG-8.
This means loss is much higher than with true open wire line. It is a
solution for moderate length runs if SWR is not high, but not the best idea
for very long runs or if the line is operated with high SWR.
