Subject: BC Trap Design question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi,

I'm about to wound 40 and 80 traps for BC as described by K1ZM.
Unfortunately, I can't get 4" PVC tube locally - next size
up is 4 1/2 " . However, I prefer to "go down" in dia. and have more
turns of RG 213 anyway. Can I wound them on 2" plastic tube and
what effect would that cause?
Is there any coax coil modeling software on web?
Can someone offer help and calculate length of coax for given diameter?
Thanks,
Nick VK2ICV VK9LX
