Same on the left coast Dave. Reconnected my NW beverage yesterday in time
to work VK9LX, UA0LDY, 9M8TG, DS4CNB and XZ1N (XZ peaked S8 just before my
sunrise at 1452z). As Ron said, it was quite a circus, as the 9M8 moved
his QSX into that of XZ1N.
Had a practice contest run of a dozen JAs in ten minutes around 12z. The
800' beverage could hear some JAs not audible on the 4 Square. Put up a
500' bev. toward EU today, have yet to hear one this season.
Let's hope the band will peak during the next two weekends! 73, N6RO
