Hi all, Last night thunderstorms were forcast for Cocos-Keeling and the QRN
levels at VK6 were over the S9 mark. The band condx from VK6 seemed good
and several strong USA were worked. A new called heard last night was BV5BG
(1200/1215z) calling CQ on 1827. This morning cndx were down and only a few
Europeans wkd/hrd. UA0MF was on 1831 (2115/2130z).
The happy story is that cndx to the West coast from VK9 improved and George
was delighted to have made so many QSO's. Please exscuse bandwidth but it
is great to spread a little happiness around. Congratulations to:
N7NG, K6ZZ, N2KK, W7CW, AD6CF, K6UR, W6OSP, WC7N, N6BT, N6TQ, AI6L, NY7T,
K6DB, W6IJ, K6UT, K7ZF, W7AM, W7MCU, W6EU, W7WX, W2VJN, KF7PG, K7VV, VE7BS
& VE7GJ.This was the order George gave them to me. I am really pleased as
the boys have been there every night, burning the midnight oil, with very
little success.
