The last five years I have using a Vertical Parasitic Array very similar
to the one in ON4UN's book. It has worked very well. Last year on 80m I
erected a four square and because of it's performance I decided to
switch over to a foure sqaure on TopBand. Yesterday the installation was
completed. I still need to place some more radials but that will happen
shortly. I would like to ask anyone who hears me this season if they
remember how my signal compared in years past to other Southwest
stations and how it compares now. These comments are probably the most
relevant since I don't have both arrays up at the same time. Please send
them directly to me and after I will summarize my findings and what
other people have seen.
