Got on this morning again about 1130z and was hearing traces of XZ0A. I was
encouraged to hear some east coast stations work them (congrats Bill, W4ZV)
and thought that with some sunrise enhancement, today might be the day.
Their signal got a bit better and by 1230z they got up to 229. I was in
there calling and definitely heard part of my call at one point. They were
coming in best on the NW beverage. Then all of the sudden at 1240z I
stopped hearing them completely. . . just like somebody turned off a switch.
Didn't hear anything further from them until about 1310z. They were then
coming in (but not copyable) on both the NW and SW beverages. I was hopeful
of some sunrise enhancement but it didn't happen.
It sounded like a bunch of you guys made it. Interestingly enough, it
sounded like most that did make it were in the southern half of the country.
